2019 Winter Training for Distance Runners
Winter training is vital for runners who want to get better and stay healthy. Below, you will find weekly training plans that are designed to gently increase your mileage through the winter months to help prepare you for the rigors of the outdoor season. This training plan is the framework and practices can be adjusted, if needed. For those who like to run with others, I (Coach Zentz) plan on meeting at 3:30 p.m. every weekday in the upper gym at HHS.
