Our site may not be quite as posh as the Resort at Paws Up (right next door), but it’s the company you camp with that makes the adventure meaningful and memorable. Every Bengal runner is expected to attend camp. This is a great team building opportunity and a great way to get to know each other, whether eating, running, star-gazing, collaborating on skits or playing games.

When: Tuesday, Aug. 16-Thursday, Aug. 18
- Leave: 8 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 16 from HHS
- Return: 3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 18 at HHS
Where: Lubrecht Experimental Forrest
Who: All Bengal XC runners are expected to attend.
Transportation: Runners will travel to the camp via a First Student school bus.
Lodging: Runners will sleep in boxcars and cabins.
What to Bring
- Gift (wrapped, worth $5-10 for team gift exchange)
- Running gear for three days (wear running gear Tuesday, and pack two more days worth)

- Spikeless racing shoes/flats for time trial if that’s what you prefer

Tuesday
Recovery Run
We will enjoy a recovery run and hill sprints along the Blackfoot River. After the run, runners can swim in the river and enjoy a snack, before we drive the last leg of the trip to camp.

We will start the day with the Red and White 2-Mile Time Trial on the path that circles the camp. We will do the August Trail Race (fundraiser) that evening in Helena as a lite shakeout/recovery.
