Important Information for 2019 Season
MANDATORY PARENT MEETING
Our 2019 mandatory parent meeting is at 5:30 p.m. Monday, August 19 at the Helena High cafeteria. We will provide important information about the season, including athlete expectations, parent involvement, fundraising and new this year, our team-building mini-camp (Saturday, August 24, see below).
Team Store Open!
Our Universal Athletic Team Store is Open through August 21! Get some gear to show your spirit!
- Thursday, August 15: August Trail Race, $10 registration starts at 6 p.m. at the Spring Meadow Resources Pavilion, race starts at 7 p.m. (FUNDRAISER: This is a fundraiser for area high school cross country teams, so more participants means more money for the team)
- Friday, August 16: First Official Practice, 7 a.m. at Helena Middle School Parking Lot
- Monday, August 19: Parent Meeting, 5:30 p.m. at Helena High Cafeteria
- Saturday, August 24: Team-Building Minicamp
Practice officially begins Friday, August 16 at 7 a.m. at the Helena Middle School Parking Lot. Runners MUST have these forms and activities completed before participating in their first practice:
All forms are available by clicking the links above or by visiting the Helena High Activities page. Also, an $80 activity fee will be required to participate in cross country, which includes an activity card. Those fees can be paid at the Helena High office.
PLEASE READ: To compete in the first meet, runners need to have at least 10 days of practice, according to MHSA rules. We will have 12 official practices before our first meet in Billings on Friday, August 30.
